Tap on an empty field to plant crops. A panel will appear above the field showing available plant species and their quantities. Select the desired seed type and drag it to the field. To harvest grown and ripened plants, tap on the sickle icon or swipe the sickle over the fields.

To buy trees, open the Shop (the basket button in the lower left corner) and go to the Plants tab. Then tap on the desired tree and place it on the farm. Tap on a tree with fruit to harvest it.

The number of fields available depends on your level. As your level increases, you unlock more fields to purchase. You can buy new fields in the Market (the basket button in the lower left corner) in the Buildings tab. You can also get premium fields as a reward or buy them in the Market.

You can buy production buildings in the Shop (the basket button in the lower left corner) in the Buildings tab. You unlock different types of buildings as your farm level increases.

The game currently doesn't have this option for production buildings, but it may be added in the future.

You can place decorations in the inventory by tapping on them and selecting the box button.

You can buy animal buildings in the Shop (the basket button in the lower left corner) in the Animals tab. You unlock different types of animal buildings as your farm level increases.

To make animal feed, build the Feed Mill. Bees and bombyxes are an exception. For them, you need to plant Honey Flowers and Mulberry Bushes from the Plants tab in the Shop.

You can upgrade the Silo and Barn to get more space. You can also free up space by putting items up for sale in the market.

Extra areas become available for purchase as your level increases. The higher your level, the more territories you can buy and clear. Tap on a territory to see at what level it becomes available.

Please note that if there is a lower-level adjacent territory that hasn't been bought yet, you can only buy the new territory after buying the previous one.

Some territories are blocked by ruined bridges and stairs. You need to repair these objects to unlock these territories.

There are several ways to get decorations for your farm:

1. From the task book in the lower left corner of the main farm window after finishing a questline.

2. In the Shop (the basket button in the lower left corner) in the Decor tab. On some major holidays, a special holiday tab with unique decor appears in the Shop.

3. In special additional in-game events: temporary and permanent expeditions, regattas, the Captain's Store, Olympia.

4. On sea expeditions on the large Ship.

5. In special offers.

Your friend most likely got these decorations as part of a special event that has already ended. The decorations awarded for completing this event might reappear in future events.

There are several ways to get coins:

1. As a reward for leveling up.

2. For completing Paddlers’ orders, tasks on the Beach, in the Tunnel, on the Boat, on the Expedition Boat, in the Mine.

3. As a reward for some achievements in Larry’s van.

4. By selling goods in the Market.

5. By opening treasure chests.

6. In special additional in-game events: temporary and permanent expeditions, regattas, the Captain's Store, Olympia.

7. For in-game purchases at the bank.

There are several ways to get Gems:

1. For completing tasks.

2. As a reward for some achievements in Larry’s van.

3. By opening treasure chests.

4. As a daily reward while playing the shell game with Mr. Liwei.

5. In special additional in-game events: temporary and permanent expeditions, regattas, Olympia.

6. For in-game purchases at the bank.

Energy and oxygen are special resources required to participate in some additional events.

Energy is required for completing locations in temporary and permanent expeditions and Olympia. Oxygen is needed for completing levels in the Underwater World.

The Paddlers Jesse and Arnold are inhabitants of the island. You can receive and complete tasks for them to earn coins and experience. You can find them at the bottom of the farm, near the Beach.

Once you complete or reject a task, the Paddler leaves. They will return with a new task in a while.

The Beach, Pier, Tunnel and expedition on the large Ship are additional activities on the farm. They allow you to earn coins and experience, as well as get decorations, seashells, production and construction items.

The Market becomes available at level 7.

It allows you to trade with your friends and buy/sell products, materials and tools. You can only trade with your friends until you unlock the Global Market.

The Global Market becomes available at level 8.

It allows you to sell excess products and materials, as well as buy products, materials and tools from other players. Offers from other players are updated every 10 minutes, but you can also update them at any time for 5 Gems. When you unlock the Global Market, your goods become available to all players.

Mines become available at level 27. After unlocking them, you can mine ore and gems for production.

Pets are not currently available, but they will return after some improvements to their functionality.

Seashells are awarded for completing tasks in the Tunnel and for sea expeditions on the Ship. You can use seashells to buy Mulberry Trees and Great Honey Flowers, which produce 10 times as many crops as ordinary ones.

The Neighborhood becomes available when you reach level 15 and restore the Neighborhood House on your farm. Once you join a Neighborhood (or create your own), you can chat with other members and ask them for various production items. Joining a Neighborhood allows players to take part in the weekly regatta.
