FAQ
What is the regatta? How do I take part?
The Regatta is a tournament in which Neighborhoods compete for rewards. It's held several times a month. Players can access the regatta at level 15, provided they have built the Neighborhood house and the yacht club and joined a Neighborhood. Players in any Neighborhood can join the regatta when it starts, provided that they have not quit a Neighborhood during the current regatta. If they have, then the player must miss one week of the regatta as a penalty. |
|
What are seasonal regattas? When are they?
Each regatta has a themed season (Pirates, Wild West, etc.). Regattas begin every Tuesday and end on Sundays. A seasonal regatta usually lasts 4 weeks, followed by a one-week inter-season regatta. |
|
How do I complete tasks in a seasonal regatta?
If you meet all the participation requirements when the regatta starts, you will see an icon on the right side of your screen. Tap on it to enter the regatta. Members of the Neighborhood complete regatta tasks to get points which add to the total Neighborhood result. Tasks are issued from the regatta interface. Simply select the task you're interested in on the task board and complete it within the specified time. Any items received and goals completed before taking the task don't count.

What is the Captain's Store? How often is it updated?

|
What are Regatta Leagues? What are the different types?
Leagues are a system for dividing up the teams participating in the seasonal regatta. Teams in the lead can progress to higher leagues and compete for extra rewards. There are 5 leagues in the seasonal regatta:
The amount of quests, buoys and rewards depends on the league. The higher the league, the more tasks, buoys and rewards are available to the Neighborhood. |
|
How are opponents selected for the regatta?
The tournament involves all the Neighborhoods created before the start of the regatta which have at least one member who has played the game in the last 30 days. Neighborhoods are combined into groups of 10 Neighborhoods. Each time a regatta starts, the groups are recombined. Players are selected according to three criteria: - The number of participants in group events. - The average level of the Neighborhood's players (for those who have played the game in the last 30 days). |
|
Can I reject a regatta task?
No, you cannot reject a task once you've accepted it. However, you can remove tasks that your Neighborhood isn't going to complete from the board. The elders or the leader can do this by tapping the trash can button on the task. |
|
How can I win a seasonal regatta?
Each regatta features a certain number of tasks that can be completed. Each task is worth a certain amount of points. The Neighborhood to score the most points in its group during the regatta wins. If you don't want to complete a task, you can remove it from the task board. A new task will appear in 30 minutes. If you accept the task but fail to complete it in the specified time, you will not receive points for this task and the task will be failed. It will be marked in gray in the list of completed tasks. Also, one attempt will be subtracted from the number of tasks that can be performed in the current regatta. |
|
How do I claim my reward for successful participation in a seasonal regatta?
After the end of the regatta and before the start of a new one, you can go to the regatta tab and tap on the reward button for distance covered (the third button in the lower right corner). There you will see the number of cards earned for buoys reached in the regatta. Each card comes with a reward. Rewards are randomly generated and you can select and change cards with unwanted rewards three times for free. |
|
What are seasonal regatta leaderboards?
The points for all weeks of the current season are tallied up, and this total determines the leaders of the regatta season. You can go to the Regatta tab and tap on Leaders (the second button in the lower right corner) to see the list of Neighborhoods that have scored the most points in the current regatta season. |
|
When do seasonal regatta leaders get rewards for their position on the leaderboard?
After the end of the season (the end of the fourth week), points are tallied for all four weeks of the regatta. Neighborhoods that finish in the top 20 get bonus Gems in addition to the rewards for buoys. The amount of Gems won depends on the Neighborhood's position on the Leaderboard. |
|
What is the inter-season regatta?
This is a special kind of unthemed regatta where players don't compete with other neighborhoods — only fulfil tasks together with their neighbors to receive rewards. It starts after the end of the themed regatta season and lasts one week. |
|
How do I complete inter-season regatta tasks and what rewards will I get?
If you meet all the participation requirements when the regatta starts, you will see an icon on the right side of your screen. Tap on it to enter the regatta. Members of the Neighborhood complete regatta tasks, earning 1 point for each task regardless of its difficulty. Points are added to the overall total for the Neighborhood. Tasks are issued from the regatta interface. Simply select the task you're interested in on the task board and complete it within the specified time. Any items received and goals completed before taking the task don't count. In this regatta, you need to pass 120 buoys to get the final reward (the gift box at the top of the screen on the buoy counter). Unlike the seasonal regatta, you get a personal reward for each buoy as soon as you reach it. In addition to the 120 buoys with standard rewards, you can unlock a bonus line of rewards for 500 Gems. To do this, press the Bonus button to the left of the buoy reward meter and agree to the terms of activation of the bonus for 500 Gems. |
|
Why can't I participate in the regatta?
If a player joins a Neighborhood during a regatta, they can only participate in the next regatta — not in the current one. |
|
Why isn't a regatta task showing as completed?
Please check the description of the task first. There may be additional conditions you haven't fulfilled. If you're sure you've fulfilled the task's requirements, but it still doesn't show as completed, please contact support — you may have encountered a technical error. |
